We are delighted to announce that we will be joined by WBO Middleweight Champion Savannah Marshall at Saturdays home game against Forest Green Rovers.
Born in Hartlepool and after studying at English Martyrs, Savannah has gone onto achieving global success in women’s boxing and on 31st October 2020 in her 9th professional fight Marshall became the WBO female middleweight champion with a TKO victory over opponent Hannah Rankin at Wembley Arena.
Savannah will return home and attend Saturdays game at The Suit Direct Stadium with her family. Her recent success will be celebrated with a lap of honour around the pitch with her title belt so please take your seats early and give our local hero a great reception.

I am hugely excited to get back to Hartlepool and attend Saturdays game. I haven’t managed to get to many recently but I have seen all over social media how amazing the atmosphere has become. I used to come all the time as a kid when my Uncle, Paul Arnison played for Hartlepool. The whole town has been great support for me when I have travelled to fight and I am looking forward to seeing everyone at The Suit Direct Stadium.
