Hartlepool United are delighted to confirm Ryan Johnson has extended his contract with the club.
The defender, who initially signed a one month deal back at the end of September has put pen to paper to extend his stay at Pools.
The former Kidderminster Harries man currently sits as our joint-top league goalscorer for the season after goals at Chesterfield and Maidenhead and has proved he can defend well at the back and also be a threat in the opposition box.
Johnson has impressed Challinor in the opening games of the season and the manager has spoken about his progress over the last month:
"Ryan has come in and been really impressive. He has created a formidable partnership with Timi and it has been very useful to have two quick defenders. It has made such a big difference having a naturally left-footed defender playing left centre half and when Ferguson bombs forward, Ryan has looked comfortable covering that space. I am delighted we could get this done and over the line".
