Match preview: Pools travel to Barnet

16 October 2020

Hartlepool United will look to continue their unbeaten start to the season as they face Barnet FC at The Hive tomorrow.

The 100% record start to the season ended on Tuesday night as Pools played out a 0-0 draw with Bromley at The Vic but after Dave Challinor described it as 'the best he has ever seen us play', it tops of a positive opening to the season.

It has been a bit of a odd start to the season for Barnet as they currently sit 10th in the National League. An opening day 5-1 defeat at home to Eastleigh was followed by a win at Dagenham and Redbridge, a defeat at Notts County and most recently, a victory at home to Weymouth on Tuesday night.

Along with a new manager in Peter Beadle, nine new signings have come through the door at the hive including JJ Hooper from Wrexham and Ben Nugent from Stevenage.

On a positive note for Pools, David Parkhouse is back from International duty and will be in contention for tomorrows squad.
