Team News: Dover Athletic v Pools

9 January 2020

Dave Challinor looks set to be without Michael Raynes for

Saturday's game at Dover Athletic after the centre-back injured his thigh

during Tuesday's win over Eastleigh.

Fellow defender Fraser Kerr is also a doubt after he was also forced off in midweek with a back problem and Gime Toure is suspended.

Kenton Richardson is hoping to recover from an ankle injury

sustained in the FA Cup tie at Oxford United, while Josh Hawkes has had a scan

to try and shed light on the extent of his groin problem.

Aaron Cunningham is back in contention after recent knee

trouble, while Myles Anderson is also available once again after returning from

a loan spell at Aldershot Town.

Adam Bale has a knee injury which is being investigated,

while Luke Williams is making progress after a hamstring problem but is

unlikely to feature before the end of the month.

Dover boss Andy Hessenthaler will have goalkeeper Lee Worgan

back in contention after he recovered from concussion, while Inih Effiong

(illness) and Kevin Lokko (hip) are both expected to feature.

Defender Paul Rooney is a doubt to face Pools after he

suffered a knee injury which kept him out of Tuesday's Kent Senior Cup win over

Faversham.
