Trust Makes Donation To Club's Foundation

19 February 2020

The Supporters' Trust have made a donation of £500 to the

Club's Community Sports Foundation following the success of their recent Kyle

Travel holiday fund-raiser.

The raffle saw one lucky winner scoop a trip to Dubai but,

more importantly, it helped the Trust raise more funds and allowed them to make

a donation to HUCSF.

Richard Ward, Chairman of the Trust, was at Victoria Park

earlier this week to present the money to Keith Nobbs, who heads up the

Community Sports Foundation.

“I would like to offer since thanks to everyone involved at

Hartlepool United Supporters' Trust who work tirelessly to support the local

community,” Nobbs commented.

“Every penny donated to the Foundation will be spent

directly on supporting our activities programme, which is crucial because

Hartlepool has some of the most deprived wards in England.”

Ward added: “We're delighted to continue our support ofHUCSF with this donation.

“HUCSF provide a range of important services to local people

across our area and, in doing so, help to raise the profile of Hartlepool

United as an important community asset.

“This donation is an opportunity for Pools fans to play a

small part in that and we look forward to continuing to support the fantastic

work Keith and the team do in the future.”
