The Supporters' Trust have made a donation of £500 to the
Club's Community Sports Foundation following the success of their recent Kyle
The raffle saw one lucky winner scoop a trip to Dubai but,
more importantly, it helped the Trust raise more funds and allowed them to make
a donation to HUCSF.Richard Ward, Chairman of the Trust, was at Victoria Park
earlier this week to present the money to Keith Nobbs, who heads up the
Community Sports Foundation.“I would like to offer since thanks to everyone involved at
Hartlepool United Supporters' Trust who work tirelessly to support the local
community,” Nobbs commented.“Every penny donated to the Foundation will be spent
directly on supporting our activities programme, which is crucial because
Hartlepool has some of the most deprived wards in England.”Ward added: “We're delighted to continue our support ofHUCSF with this donation.
“HUCSF provide a range of important services to local people
across our area and, in doing so, help to raise the profile of Hartlepool
United as an important community asset.“This donation is an opportunity for Pools fans to play a
small part in that and we look forward to continuing to support the fantastic
work Keith and the team do in the future.”
