Fraser Kerr has
been handed a boost following his weekend injury scare after initial scans
The centre-back
was forced off fifteen minutes from time during Saturday's defeat at Dagenham
& Redbridge and there were worries that the Scot had sustained a serious
injury.However, those
fears were allayed by tests carried out in hospital and Kerr is now working
closely with the Club's medical staff to return to fitness as quickly as
possible.“The initial scanhas told us there is no obvious fracture,” confirmed Callum Davidson.
“Fraser has been
responding well to treatment so we will continue to monitor him closely over
the next 10 to 14 days and during that period we will decide whether a further
scan is necessary.“However, the hopeis that will continue to see him making good progress.”
Kerr joined Pools
from Gateshead in February and the dominant centre-back has been an
ever-present in the defence so far this season.
