H'Angus the Monkey flew the flag for Pools by completing the
Great North Run on Sunday, raising funds for Alice House Hospice along the way.

The Club's monkey mascot completed the 13.1 mile course in
just over three and a half hours and raised over £1,200 for the Hospice,
smashing his target of £1,000.

H'Angus had to fight through the pain barrier too, after
injuring his ankle jumping to high-five England skipper Steph Houghton as he
crossed the start line!

Meanwhile, Sarah Rowntree – who works for the Club's
Community Sports Foundation – completed her first Great North Run in just over
two and a half hour and raised nearly £1,000 for the charity.

Former Pools star Michael Nelson clocked an impressive 1
hour 34 minutes, while Micky Barron got round in just over two hours.

Congratulations to everyone who took part in this year's
Great North Run.
