The Club has linked up with our Community Sports Foundation
and the Supporters' Trust to hold a collection at Saturday's game to support
Prior to the weekend game against Boreham Wood, fans will beable to come along and donate items as part of a wider event across the town.
It was a huge success when we carried out a similar appeal
last season, with enough food for 750 meals collected and this term we're
hoping to do even better.The Foodbank welcomes donations of non-perishable items such as:
- UHT milk
- Long-life fruit juice or squash
- Soup (tinned or packet)
- Pasta sauces
- Tinned meat and fish
- Tinned vegetables and fruit
- Tinned tomatoes
- Cereals
- Tinned rice pudding/custard
- Instant coffee
- Tea bags
- Rice
- Pasta
- Jam
- Biscuit and snack bars
They also benefit from the donation of toiletries for bothmen and women.
On Saturday we'll open our doors from 1pm so that you can
drop donations in to the Club's Main Reception on Clarence Road or in The
Corner Flag.Please do what you can to support this drive and help usmake a significant difference to those who rely on the Foodbank.
