Nicke Kabamba Agrees Permanent Pools Move

13 May 2019

Pools have completed their first signing of the summer after Nicke Kabamba agreed terms on a permanent switch to The Super 6 Stadium.

The front man became a huge hit with Pools fans after joining the Club on loan from Havant & Waterlooville for the second half of last season.

Kabamba enjoyed a dream start to life in a Pools shirt, becoming only the second player in the Club’s history to score in all of their first four games for the Club.

Indeed, the powerful and pacey striker netted five goals in those first four outings – only the third player to score as many so quickly for Pools and the first since 1946.

The former Portsmouth forward finished the campaign with a tally of seven Pools goals from his 17 appearances and supporters were keen to see him signed on a permanent basis.

Boss Craig Hignett quickly made it clear how much he wanted Kabamba as part of his squad for 2019/20 and has now convinced the popular 26-year-old that his future lies in the North-East.
