Team News: Barrow v Pools

20 April 2019

We take a look at the latest info from both camps ahead of Monday's game against Barrow at Holker Street (3pm kick-off).

Craig Hignett has now new injury worries ahead of the Easter Monday trip to Barrow.

The Pools boss will run the rule over midfield man Josh Hawkes who will be hoping to return to action at Holker Street after missing the last three games with a thigh problem.

Carl Magnay is back in training after his knee operation but won't be rushed back in to action too quickly, while Aaron Cunningham is still on the road to recovery following a knee problem.

Barrow boss Ian Evatt will remain without striker Rhys Turner who has been told he is unlikely to play again this season after suffering a hamstring injury.

However, Josh Kay returned from a back problem to start in the draw at Maidenhead United on Good Friday, though Brian Wilson and Jacob Blyth are still on the sidelines.

Defender Connor Brown and striker Dior Angus both came off the bench on Friday after recovering from injury and the pair will hope to be in contention for starting spots against Pools.
