Hartlepool United are happy to announce the loan signing of Michael Dacosta Gonzalez from AFC Bournemouth.

The winger has been a highly-rated youngster at Bournemouth, appearing on the bench in the Premier League a handful of times since 2023.

Gonzalez was loaned to Crawley Town last season in League One but suffered a pre-season injury and missed the majority of the campaign.

On arriving at Pools, Gonzalez said: “I’m very grateful for the opportunity that’s been given to me.

“I’m excited for the challenge ahead, and I can’t wait to bring a positive impact to the team.”

Manager Simon Grayson said: “We are delighted to sign Michael.

“He’s an exciting young winger who can play on either side, and will add something different to the squad.

“He’s had a great upbringing at Bournemouth, which I’m sure will help us going forward.”
