Young attacker Max Storey has joined Blyth Spartans on a season-long loan deal ahead of the 2024/25 campaign.
The 18-year-old signed his first professional contract with Pools in May and has featured four times for Darren Sarll’s side during pre-season.
Storey will continue to gain senior experience with Blyth Spartans in the Northern Premier League this campaign.
The Club wishes Max the best of luck for the duration of his loan spell.
Head of Football Operations, Joe Monks, explained:
“Max’s loan move is key for the next stage of his development. Max has done very well to get to the stage where he is now a professional footballer, graduating from the academy set-up.”
“His loan move to Blyth gives him a chance to learn how to apply his technical ability to senior football at a good level. This is the next stage of his development, continuing to train daily with our first team while implementing his skillset in the Northern Premier League.”
“We will continue to monitor his progress and can recall him at any point Darren Sarll deems him ready to play in our first team.”
