Match Preview | Aldershot Town

Hartlepool United travel south to the EBB Stadium to face Aldershot Town as they search for three points in the Enterprise National League

Pools are after their first league victory on the road since winning 2-0 away to Altrincham in August.

Despite the sole win, they have just one loss away from the Prestige Group Stadium – a 1-0 loss to table-toppers Forest Green Rovers.

Simon Grayson’s side will look to rebuild after a frustrating goalless draw to Brackley Town at the weekend.

Aldershot are the hosts, as they themselves look for their first victory since August.

Since then, the Shots have drawn all but their most recent game, losing 2-0 at the hands of Carlisle United.

Last Time Out

Pools last met the Shots in February at the EBB Stadium, losing 3-2 in heartbreaking fashion.

After a Tyler Frost own goal gave Pools the lead going into the break, Joshua Barrett scored deep into stoppage time to win the game.
