Pools midfielder Kieran Wallace made his first start for National League North side, Peterborough Sports, on Saturday afternoon as the Turbines faced Curzon Ashton.

Wallace played the full 90 as his new side claimed a 1-1 draw with play-off chasing Curzon Ashton. The visitors took the lead inside sixty seconds, but the Turbines equalised after an own goal on 13 minutes.
In the Northern Premier League East Division, Alfie Steel came on for the final 10 minutes as Ossett United were trailing to Bishop Auckland. Eddie Church scored a late equaliser moments after Steel’s introduction to tie the game at 1-1.
Redcar Athletic weren’t in action over the weekend, but the Steelmen claimed a staggering 8-0 win over West Allotment Celtic in midweek, with Pools stopper Josh Mazfari keeping his 20th clean sheet of the season.
Redcar remain top of Northern League Division One, seven points ahead of second-placed Blyth Town.

West Auckland Town jumped to 12th in the Northern League Division One table on Saturday, following an impressive 4-1 win over Guisborough Town.
Pools winger Max Storey played 68 minutes of the game, with the score standing at 3-0 as he made way. Second-year scholar Charlie Berry was left as an unused substitute.
Manny Onariase was ineligible to feature for Maidenhead on Saturday as the Magpies faced Pools. However, the defender started against Southampton U21s in the National League Cup on Tuesday night.
