Eighteen-year-old attacker, Joe Aungiers, made his senior debut at the weekend with Whitby Town.
The youngster started and played an hour during Whitby’s trip to Prescot Cables, having signed on Saturday morning.
The Blues fell to a 1-0 defeat following a first half penalty, which leaves Gary Liddle’s side 16th in the Northern Premier League Premier Division table.
“Joe did well with it being his first taste of men’s football,” Liddle told Whitby Town’s club website at full time.
“He caused problems down the right-hand side and hit the post for us.
“He worked hard and tired a bit during the second half which is why we made the change. He can be proud of his performance.”

Meanwhile, Pools defender Manny Onariase was in action twice this week with fellow National League outfit, Maidenhead United.
The centre-back played the full game on Tuesday night as the Magpies, fighting against relegation, claimed a 1-0 victory away to play-off contenders Oldham Athletic.
On Saturday, Onariase again played the full 90 minutes, this time with Maidenhead falling to a 2-0 home defeat against Yeovil Town.
Kieran Wallace also made two appearances this week while on loan at Peterborough Sports.
The midfielder played 70 minutes in midweek as the Turbines were defeated in the Northampton County Cup semi-final to Corby Town.
They rebounded with a 1-0 win away to Rushall Olympic on Saturday in the National League North, however Wallace was taken off midway through the second half with a knee injury.
It was an unbeaten week for Alfie Steel’s Ossett United, who picked up a 1-0 win against Bridlington Town on Tuesday before drawing 0-0 with Sheffield at the weekend, with Steel coming off the bench in both fixtures.
Back-to-back clean sheets were the reward for Pools keeper Josh Mazfari this week, on loan at Redcar Athletic.
The shot-stopper now has 22 for the season as the Steelmen solidified their place at the top of Northern League Division One with wins over Kendal and Tow Law Town.

Max Storey and Charlie Berry both played twice for West Auckland Town this week, with Storey getting on the scoresheet.
The attacker scored West Auckland’s second as they progressed through to the Mitre Brooks Mileson Memorial League Cup quarter finals with a 2-0 win over Northallerton Town. Academy midfielder Berry came on as a late substitute as West saw the game out.
Then in league action, West Auckland suffered a 2-0 defeat to Crook Town on Friday night. Storey played an hour of the fixture, while Berry came on for the final 30 minutes.
