Hartlepool United can confirm that Kian Foreman has joined National League North side Hebburn Town on loan until January 2027.
The temporary move has been agreed to support the 18-year-old’s continued development through regular senior first-team football as he continues his progression within the Club’s player development pathway.
A product of the Hartlepool United Academy, Foreman made his senior debut as a second-half substitute in the Isuzu FA Trophy tie against Tamworth in December 2024 before making his National League debut away to Rochdale in April 2025.
The young forward enjoyed a successful loan spell with Hebburn Town during the 2025/26 Northern Premier League campaign, making 18 appearances and scoring three goals as the Hornets secured promotion to the National League North.
Following his recall by Pools, Foreman concluded the campaign with a further loan spell at National League North side Spennymoor Town, making six appearances and scoring once.
As part of the agreement, Foreman will remain eligible to represent Hartlepool United in National League Cup fixtures during his loan spell.
Lee Clark, First Team Head Coach at Hartlepool United, said: “I’ve been really impressed with Kian since the first day of pre-season. He’s trained really well, applied himself every day and shown a great attitude, which is exactly what you want from a young player.
“He had a really positive spell at Hebburn last season before going on to gain more experience at Spennymoor, and those opportunities have helped him develop. The next step for him now is to keep playing regular senior football because that’s where young players learn the most.
“Hebburn is a club that knows Kian well and it’s an environment where he’s already shown he can do well. We know he’ll continue to be challenged there and that’s important for his development.
“We’ll be keeping a close eye on his progress throughout the loan and, with the agreement we’ve put in place, he’ll also be available to play for us in the National League Cup, so he’ll remain an important part of our plans.”
Chris Maxwell, Head of Football Operations at Bromby & Partners, said: “Kian is a player we believe has a really bright future at Pools and this loan is another important step in his football development.
“While he’ll be gaining valuable experience with Hebburn Town, he’ll continue to have the full support of everyone here at the Club. We’ll stay in regular contact with Kian and the staff at Hebburn, monitor his progress closely and do everything we can to help him get the maximum benefit from this spell.
