Kian Foreman signs first professional contract

Hartlepool United are pleased to announce that Kian Foreman has signed his first professional contract with the Club.

The winger penned his first deal on his 18th birthday on Saturday, before travelling to Gainsborough Trinity for Pools’ FA Cup tie at Northolme.

Foreman has been a part of the Pools Academy from the beginning, featuring in this year’s FA Youth Cup run.

It is the second season that Foreman has spent around the First Team, after being involved in last season’s campaign that included his debut against Tamworth.

Representing his home town Club is something that Foreman has expressed immense pride in.

He said: “It’s amazing.

“This is my hometown Club, I can’t wait to get ready for more.

“I’ve been with the Academy for quite a while now, I know everyone, and they are all great.

“The First Team have been very good with me, it is really good to keep being around them.

“It’s made me work as hard as I can.

“I want to play every week, score goals, and play my football as best as I can.”
