Joe Monks departs Hartlepool United

Hartlepool United can confirm that Joe Monks has stepped down from his role as Head of Football Operations to take up a role at another club.

Joe will depart having completed a short handover with Bromby & Partners.

Joe joined Hartlepool United in September 2023 from Stockport County, where he was Head of Emerging Talent. During his time at Pools, he worked across both first-team and academy operations.

Joe Monks said: “I would like to thank the staff, players and supporters for their support during my time at the Club. I feel this is the right time for me to move on to a new opportunity. I am proud of the work carried out behind the scenes and wish the Club every success moving forward.”

Joe’s decision to step down comes at a time when the Club has recently appointed Bromby & Partners, a specialist football advisory firm, to support the ongoing development of its football operations.

Landon Smith, Owner & Chairman of Hartlepool United, said: “Joe has worked with professionalism during his time at the Club and has made a positive contribution across a number of areas. We thank him for his efforts and wish him well for the future.”
