Hartlepool United is pleased to announce Sweat Recovery Zone as a new club partner.
Based in Hartlepool, the agreement gives the club’s players regular access to professional recovery services throughout the season.
Since opening in the town, Sweat Recovery Zone has made evidence-based recovery accessible to everyday people as well as athletes. Its facility offers three core services used by athletes worldwide:
- Traditional sauna: heat therapy that supports circulation, eases muscle tension and aids relaxation.
- Ice bath (cold plunge): controlled cold exposure to help reduce inflammation, sharpen focus and speed up recovery after training and matches.
- Compression boots: air-pressure leg therapy designed to improve blood flow and reduce soreness.
An on-site massage therapist is also available for hands-on support with tight muscles, ongoing niggles and general maintenance.
Under the partnership, Hartlepool United players will be able to use the facility after training, on rest days and during busy fixture periods, with everything available under one roof.
Over the past year, Sweat Recovery Zone has become a hub for the local community, supporting runners and HYROX athletes preparing for events, footballers recovering after matches and anyone simply looking to feel better. Its team recovery nights have proved popular with local clubs.
Rose Stoker, Operations & Commercial Director at Hartlepool United, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Sweat Recovery Zone as a club partner.
“Recovery plays a vital role in keeping our players fit, sharp and ready to perform across a demanding season, and having a quality facility right here in Hartlepool makes that simple.
“It’s also important to us that we work with local businesses who understand the town and share our pride in the club.”
Sam Mayes, Co-Founder at Sweat Recovery Zone, said: “We’re local lads who care about Hartlepool and want to give something back to the town.
“Sweat Recovery Zone was built for the people here, and partnering with Hartlepool United genuinely means a lot to us.
“Supporting our hometown club and helping the players stay fit and ready is something we’re really proud of, and we can’t wait to get started.”
