Hartlepool United is proud to support the Poolies Matter mental health initiative at this Saturday’s Enterprise National League fixture against Tamworth at Victoria Park.

Led by Tees, Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust, the campaign encourages people to seek help early if they are struggling with their mental health.

It features real stories from Pools supporters and community groups, alongside practical tools and resources for people in Hartlepool experiencing anxiety, loneliness or depression.

Working in partnership with United for the Community, the Trust is sending a clear message to the Pools family: you matter, support is available, and someone is there for you when you need it.

The campaign has the backing of all Pools supporters’ organisations, as well as several support groups and charities across the town.

Seeking help early can prevent smaller mental health concerns from developing into more serious problems. The club and its partners want everyone in Hartlepool to know where to turn for support, whether for themselves, a loved one or a friend.

“The initiative carries a vital message, and as a club we are delighted to lend our support and continue to raise awareness of the impact mental health can have on people’s lives.

“If everyone at Saturday’s match reads a leaflet, wears a T-shirt or shares a social media post, they will be helping to spread the message that help is there for anyone who needs it.”
