Reyes Cleary

Cleary loan deal extended

Hartlepool United are delighted to announce Reyes Cleary’s loan deal has been extended until the end of the season.

The winger will be available for the final 12 games of the season after Pools have extended his loan deal from West Brom.

Since arriving at the Prestige Group Stadium at the end of January, Cleary has made a glistening impact to the team.

The 20-year-old has made eight appearances so far in the blue and white, and he was named the National League Team of the Week for his impressive display against Sutton United on February 8.

Three days later, Cleary followed up his achievement with his first Hartlepool goal in 2-2 draw against Tamworth.

On extending his stay at Pools, Cleary stated:
“I’m delighted to be here until the end of the season. I’ve loved my time here so far, the style of play really suits me and I’m creating a lot of chances. The fans have been excellent with me and I’d like to thank them for the support so far. I’m looking forward to final two months and hopefully we can finish the season strong.”

Pools Head Coach, Anthony Limbrick, added:
“We’re really pleased to have Reyes here until the end of the season. He’s made a great impact since joining the Club – he’s got a fantastic attitude. Hopefully he can play a big part for us during these final two months.”
