Ashley Nathaniel-George joins Pools on loan

Hartlepool United Football Club are happy to announce the loan signing of winger Ashley Nathaniel-George from York City

The 30-year-old joins Pools on a short-term deal with the option to extend further.

Nathaniel-George joined York in the summer of 2024 from Maidenhead United, winning Supporters’ Player of the Year in 2023 at the latter.

The winger has played eight times for York this season, and has not lost a game in the Enterprise National League so far this campaign.

He brings over 100 games of experience in the National League to Pools, as well as international experience with Antigua and Barbuda.

On joining Pools, Nathaniel-George said:

“I’m buzzing to be here.

“It’s a big Club here, it’s a great opportunity to play football.

“I can’t wait to show the fans what I can do.”

Pools Manager Nicky Featherstone said:

“It’s great to have Nathaniel here.

“He’s experienced, he can impact games positively, and he will be good to have around the place.

“Hopefully, he can enjoy his time here.”
