Hartlepool United is delighted to announce that the South East Poolies have made a generous donation to support the first teamās nutrition provision at away fixtures during the 2026/27 season.
The contribution will help the Club provide the players with nutritious pre-match meals when travelling, supporting their preparation for the demands of each away game.
Established in 2009, the South East Poolies bring together Hartlepool United supporters based across London and the Home Counties.
Many of the groupās members were born and raised in Hartlepool before moving south and have remained closely connected to Pools, regularly attending fixtures and raising funds for initiatives across the Club.
Lee Clark, First Team Head Coach at Hartlepool United said: āItās a brilliant gesture from the South East Poolies and weāre extremely grateful for their support.
āSince arriving at the Club, Iāve heard a lot about the South East Poolies and the incredible commitment they show to Pools. They travel significant distances to get behind the team, so for them to support us in this way as well means a lot to everyone in the dressing room.
āThere is a great deal that goes into preparing for an away fixture, both on and off the pitch, and making sure the players have the right food before they play is an important part of that.
āIād like to thank Stu, the group and everyone who has contributed to their fundraising. We really appreciate it.āĀ
Stu Miller, representing the South East Poolies, added: āThere is a real energy around the Club going into the new season and, as a group, we wanted to do something that would directly support Lee and the first team.
āHaving the right pre-match food available might seem like a small thing, but proper preparation is important throughout a long and demanding National League season.
āWeāre really proud to be able to help the Club in a way that is new for our group. This donation has only been possible because of everyone who supports our fundraising throughout the year, so a huge thank you must go to them.
āWeāve also got some exciting plans for the season ahead, including a dedicated South East Poolies away fixture which weāll be announcing shortly.ā
