23 Taxis announced as Official Academy Sponsor

Hartlepool United have partnered with 23 Taxis as the Club’s Official Academy Sponsor for the 2026/27 season, and will include branding across all Academy match and training wear.

A long-standing and trusted name in Hartlepool, 23 Taxis returns as an official partner of the Club, underlining a shared commitment to developing local talent and supporting the Academy pathway.

Established in 1983, 23 Taxis is one of Hartlepool’s most trusted private hire companies, providing reliable transport across the North East.

Operating a modern fleet and offering services ranging from local journeys to airport transfers and group travel, the business has built a strong reputation for professionalism and customer service.

With deep roots in the local community, its return to the Club reflects a shared commitment to supporting the town, strengthening community connections, and investing in the next generation of players.

Kevin Pout, General Manager at 23 Taxis, said: “We’re incredibly proud to be partnering with Hartlepool United as Official Academy Sponsor for the 2026/27 season and to continue our association with the Club.

“As a business that has been part of the town for over 40 years, the Club has always been close to us. Being involved with the Academy, where young players develop both on and off the pitch, is something we feel strongly about.

“Our late owners, Dave and Cath, were always passionate about youth football in the area, and they would have been delighted to see the work being done within the Academy to strengthen links with junior clubs. That connection gives young players the best opportunity to progress and feel part of their hometown club.

“This partnership allows us to play a meaningful role in the development of young players, and we’re looking forward to working closely with everyone at the Club to build a strong, long-term relationship that benefits both Hartlepool United and the wider community.”

Rose Stoker, Commercial & Operations Director at Hartlepool United, said: “We’re thrilled to welcome 23 Taxis back to Pools as our Official Academy Sponsor and to re-establish an important partnership for the Club.

“As a trusted local business with a long history in the town, 23 Taxis are a natural fit for us. It’s important that we work with partners who understand the Club and the community, and this partnership reflects that.

“Their presence across our Academy kit and around the training environment is a great fit and the contribution they make across the season will have a real impact behind the scenes.

“We’re looking forward to working closely together and building a strong relationship that supports both the Club and the wider community.”

The Pools’ Academy plays a key role in the Club’s future, providing young players with a clear pathway from grassroots football into the professional game. With a strong focus on development on and off the pitch, the Academy continues to support and develop the next generation of players.

Alex Cross, Academy Manager at Hartlepool United, added: “We’re delighted to welcome 23 Taxis back to the Club as our Official Academy Sponsor. The Academy has gone from strength to strength and we have big plans to keep pushing that forward next season and beyond.

“The backing we receive makes a real difference to the environment we’re creating for our players. It’s about giving young players the best possible opportunity to develop and having that support in place helps us do that every day.”
