Pools set for Scarborough friendly

Darren Sarll’s side continue their pre-season campaign with a Tuesday night trip to National League North outfit, Scarborough Athletic. Kick-off will take place at 7:45pm at Scarborough Sports Village.

Sarll’s side were last in action on Saturday, with 21 different players involved as Pools claimed a 3-0 win over West Auckland Town. Goals came from Adam Campbell and Mani Dieseruvwe in the first half, while a trialist added another late on.

Scarborough have been involved in three friendlies so far, with victories against Bridlington Town, Tadcaster Albion and Selby Town. Jonathan Greening’s men have scored 10 goals in the process.

Both sides have familiar faces in the dressing room, with Pools having signed Kieran Burton from Scarborough last summer. Meanwhile the Seadogs line-up may consist of former Poolies, Michael Duckworth and Richie Bennett.
