Paul Jenkins was appointed as the Club’s Assistant Manager in July 2017 after spending over two decades on the coaching staff at Middlesbrough.
A highly-respected coach, Jenkins was a part of the Teessiders’ Academy staff for almost 23 years during which he played a key role in the development of stars such as Stewart Downing and Ben Gibson.
Jenkins earned a big reputation during his time at The Riverside Stadium, with one of his finest achievements coming in 2015/16 when he guided their Under-23 side to a domestic treble.
The forward-thinking coach stepped up to First Team level at Middlesbrough to assist Steve Agnew towards the end of the 2017/18 campaign but parted ways with the club at the end of the season.
Pools boss Craig Harrison knew Jenkins from his playing days at Boro and was quick to make his move and add him to his backroom staff once he became available.
