Central midfielder Crawford joined Pools in August 2020 and, despite struggling with injury, made 20 appearances as the club were promoted to League Two.
He played for Stoke City and Chester as a youngster before a two-year spell with Notts County, as well as a brief loan move to Fylde where he won the 2019 FA Trophy.
