After a sting playing in Portugal, Amond returned to England on a season-long loan with Accrington Stanley at the start of 2011/12 and the move turned permanent the following summer.
In 2013, Morecambe swooped to secure his services and he netted 19 goals in 50 appearances for The Shrimps, operating mainly on the right side of midfield.
He joined Grimsby at the start of the 2015/16 campaign and went on to enjoy a stunning year at Blundell Park, winning a whole host of Player of the Year awards.
Amond enjoyed a decent first season at The Vic, helping himself to 14 goals despite often being used in a lone attacking role for the team.
