Central defender Lacey joined Hartlepool in June 2022 after departing Notts County, where he played in the 2020 National League play-off final.
Lacey came through Luton Town's youth set-up and made 50 senior appearances, winning the Conference in 2014. He then moved to Yeovil and was named the 2017 Supporters Player of the Season.
After playing in League One with Gillingham, Lacey enjoyed three years with Notts County and later made the move to Pools. His first season was largely disrupted with injuries, limiting him to 21 appearances.
