Team News: Pools v Stockport County

Gime Toure, Hartlepool United

Dave Challinor will welcome Gime Toure back in to contention for Saturday’s game against Stockport County after the front man completed a three-game suspension.

The Pools boss has had to contend with a fairly busy treatment room but has been able to add a new recruit in the shape of full-back Macauley Southam-Hales who has joined on loan from Fleetwood Town.

Kenton Richardson is still battling back from an ankle issue, Fraser Kerr’s back injury is still giving cause for concern, while Michael Raynes also remains sidelined with a thigh problem.

Josh Hawkes (groin), Adam Bale (knee), Luke James (groin) and Luke Williams (hamstring) are all also still ruled out of action at the moment.

Stockport County could hand a debut to winger Danny Lloyd who returned to the club on loan from Salford City this week.

Lloyd is a firm favourite at Edgeley Park having scored 29 goals in 2016/17 before securing a move in to the EFL with Peterborough United.

Midfielder Darren Stephenson is still recovering from injury and won’t feature at Victoria Park.
