Gary Liddle will go straight in to contention for a second Pools’ debut against Dagenham & Redbridge at Victoria Park on Saturday (3pm kick-off).
The 33-year-old has re-joined the Club on loan from Walsall until the end of January and the deal has been finalised in time for him to feature against The Daggers.
However, Aaron Cunningham looks set to miss the weekend’s game – it will come too soon for the young defender who is still recovering from a knee injury.
Josh Hawkes will be assessed in training ahead of the weekend after being taken off as a precaution at half-time during the FA Trophy tie at Harrogate Town.
That leaves Luke James (groin), Luke Molyneux (ankle) and Luke Williams (hamstring) as the only other players on the sidelines for Saturday’s contest.
Dagenham boss Peter Taylor has no new injury worries as he prepares to bring his team to the North-East this weekend.
Midfielders Harry Phipps and Harold Odametey are still sidelined, as is star man Angelo Balanta and none of that trio will be in The Daggers’ travelling party.
