Team News: Notts County v Pools

Gime Toure, Hartlepool United

Antony Sweeney will assess the fitness of top scorer Gime Toure ahead of Saturday’s game at Notts County after he was forced to undergo a procedure on his injured hand earlier this week.

The front man is back at the training ground today where the Club’s medical staff will monitor his progress before a decision is made on whether he will be allowed to feature against The Magpies.

Luke Williams is now back in full training and will hope to press his claims for a place in the squad, while Myles Anderson is also closing in on a return after recovering from concussion.

County boss Neal Ardley was boosted by the return of defender Connell Rawlinson during their brilliant 4-0 win at Woking in midweek.

The hosts should also have Nathan Tyson back available to face Pools after the front man missed Tuesday’s away game through illness.
