The towering frontman, who has twice won promotion to the Football League, made an instant impact during his first season with Pools after notching 25 goals.

After progressing through Sheffield Wednesday’s academy, Dieseruvwe played for the likes of Chesterfield and Kidderminster Harriers.

He joined Salford City in 2017 and won back-to-back promotions with the Ammies, scoring in the 2019 National League play-off final. He then helped Salford win the 2020 EFL Trophy.

Dieseruvwe also won promotion to League Two with Grimsby Town in 2022, on loan from Tranmere Rovers. He spent 2022/23 with Halifax, winning the FA Trophy and finishing as their top goalscorer.
