Sloggett signed for Pools in July 2024 following a stint in League One with Cheltenham Town.

The Irishman has spent most of his career in his homeland, having come through UCD’s system and winning the League of Ireland First Division title in 2018.

Sloggett then played for Derry City and Dundalk, appearing over 100 times for the latter and playing in the Europa League group stages in 2020.
