Pools start at home as the 2020/21 Fixtures are released

The fixtures for the 2020/2021 season are now live via the Vanarama National League as we learn Pools will start the season with a home tie.

The new season will kick off on the 3rd of October as we host to Aldershot Town at The Vic. The last time around, Pools came out 2-0 winners with goals from Shelton and Molyneux back in March. The reverse fixture will be played on May 15th.

Looking at the other key fixtures for the season, on Boxing Day Pools will be at home to Halifax Town and the reverse fixture will be played just over a week later on Saturday January 2nd for the first game of the 2021 calendar. Despite being a 100 mile away Halifax will be our closest game this year with Harrogate gaining promotion via the play-offs.

One for the diaries is always last away game of the season as Poolies can start planning their fancy dress for a trip to Sutton United at the Gander Green Lane. The last game of the season will be played at Home to Dover on May 29th.

Our furthest trip of the season will be to newly promoted side Weymouth as we make the near 370 mile journey on Saturday January 23rd with the reverse fixture being played at the Vic on April 24th.
