Hartlepool United are delighted to announce the signing of Tom Crawford.
Tom joins us after the expiration of his contract with fellow National League side Notts County.
The 21-year-old midfielder joined Notts County from Chester in May 2018 for an undisclosed fee having progressed through their Academy, he featured nine times for County last season, netting once, with Notts winning eight of those nine games.
Manager Dave Challinor knows Tom very well as he spent time on loan at AFC Fylde during the 2018/19 season and he spoke about his delight of getting Crawford into the club:
“Tom is a player I know very well and someone we have been looking at for quite a while, he is still a young lad but he is a great talent and fits in really well at what we are trying to do here. I am excited for him to get started with the rest of the squad”.
Tom Crawford spoke to the club about his excitement of joining up with the Pools squad:
“I’m eager to get going and show what I can do, I’m excited to not just sign for a big club but play in front of such a great fan base. I have played at The Vic before and it is always bouncing so I’m excited to link up with the rest of the squad and get ready for the start of the season”.
