Pools players and fans donate and unite for half term

Hartlepool United fans and players have come together to donate food and raise money for those who need it during the school half term.

From which started as a tweet from @Scottloachcoach describing how he wanted to help provide breakfast for kids of Hartlepool at The Vic during half term, ended up becoming the talk of the town as so many people came forward offering help and support.

From 9am-1pm today, fans came down to the Victoria Lounge and donated a mix of all different food packages ahead of Tuesdays collection.

After seeing what the fans had done for the community, the players wanted to give something back and this was the result:

We would like to thank every single fan and member of this great community for being apart of this amazing project in such a short amount of time. It is always a welcomed reminder that Hartlepool is always United.
