Pools paid an undisclosed fee to Hendon when they won the race for the signature of prolific front man Niko Muir in the summer of 2018.
The non-league hotshot struck 40 goals in all competitions for the Isthmian League outfit during 2017/18 and became a target for a number of clubs before Pools completed their move.
A strong and powerful front man with a great touch, Muir has been a reliable source of goals for a number of clubs on the non-league scene, including Grays Athletic, Wingate & Finchley, VCD Athletic and Leiston.
Championship outfit Queens Park Rangers showed a strong interest in Muir last term following a short trial period but now Pools have moved to bring him to the North-East and offer him his first route in to professional football.
Muir helped himself to six goals during his debut campaign and did enough to ensure that the Club took up the option on his contract to keep him at Pools in to 2019/20.
