Powerful front man Gime Toure became the Club’s fifth signing of the 2019 summer when he agreed a move from Sutton United.
The 6ft 2ins forward spent the first half of 2018/19 on the books at AFC Fylde before ending the campaign at Sutton, playing 41 games in all and hitting the net seven times.
A strong and mobile attacker, Toure began his career back in his home country of France where an eye-catching 2013/14 for Viry Chatillon earned him a trial with West Brom.
He returned to England in the summer of 2017 when he spent pre-season with Wrexham before going on to win a deal at eventual champions Macclesfield Town.
Pools boss Craig Hignett had been looking to add a different kind of dimension to his attacking options during the summer and finalised a deal for Toure in June.
