After an impressive August period, Mani Dieseruvwe has been named as the National League’s Player of the Month.
The forward takes home the award after scoring five goals in five appearances during August, including a last minute winner against Gateshead on his debut.
He helped Pools to four wins during the month, and has already opened his account for September with a goal at home to Wealdstone.
Dieseruvwe commented:
“It's a really nice feeling to get the recognition from the league. It's been a good start for myself personally and for the team. I've seen it's the best start we've had in 35 years which is a great achievement for the lads - hopefully we can continue and make it a memorable season."
