The games continue to come thick and fast for Hartlepool United as they travel to Bradford City on Saturday (1pm KO). There are just 10 games of the season left, and every point is vital in Pools' battle for League Two survival.
The Opposition
Bradford are sixth in League Two, five points off the automatic play-off places. They've won 16 of their 35 games this season, and they've lost just one of their last 10 games. Former Manchester City, Blackburn Rovers, and Southampton manager Mark Hughes is at the helm for the Bantams, and his side features plenty of quality throughout.
Three former Poolies features in the Bradford backline - Timi Odusina, Luke Hendrie, and Romoney Crichlow. Hartlepool-born midfielder Harry Chapman plays in the Bantams midfield, while the high-flying Andy Cook leads the attack.
The History
This will be the 92nd meeting between the sides, with Pools winning 33 times, Bradford winning 36 times, and 22 matches ending in a draw. Earlier this season, Pools lost 3-1 at home despite David Ferguson's strike. Pools did win their last match away to Bradford, though, with a Mark Cullen brace and a Songo'o own goal giving Dave Challinor's side all three points.
Team News
The treatment room is clearing at Pools, with only Alex Lacey described as a long-term absentee. Callum Cooke, Tom Crawford, and Dan Dodds will all be monitored closely after recently recovering from injury, though all three are in line to be involved against the Bantams.
