Sensory Room Unveiled

11 August 2023

Hartlepool United are thrilled to announce the opening of our brand new sensory room.

We're pleased to confirm the sensory room will be open from this Saturday's game against Gateshead.

Club captain David Ferguson was on hand to unveil the new room alongside young supporters Maxwell and Tabi.

The Club really wanted to provide supporters a safe space should they need it during matchdays. Supporters can select free tickets online prior to the game on the ticketing platform, or by emailing supporterliaison@hartlepoolunited.co.uk. Should anyone feel overwhelmed during the game or wish to visit the room, please ask a member of staff who will direct you, subject to availability.

We would like to thank Silly Sloths for providing us with toys and equipment to use within the sensory room.

Commercial Support, Hannah Anderson commented:

"We are really excited to offer our young supporters the use of our new sensory room on a matchday. We know that the atmosphere on a matchday can be slightly overwhelming at times for younger fans so we hope this provides a safe space should they need it. Thank you to Silly Sloths for their support."
