Hartlepool United are deeply saddened and disappointed with the confirmation of relegation from the English Football League to the National League.
As a collective, the Club will be doing everything within its power to work towards reinstating our position back to the EFL.
The Club would like to reassure and provide clarity to the fans on some key points initially.
John Askey will continue to be backed ahead of next season. Their work has already commenced on the recruitment side and funds have been made available. The management team will have the full support of the board and the staff within the Club to ensure this is a smooth and successful process.
The Club will be working with Andy Lowe for the continuation of the Academy and will strive towards improvements in this regard.
The commercial and operational work that was planned for this close season will continue to go ahead. Fans will be kept up to date with clear communication during the summer on these improvements which follow on from feedback around ticketing, hospitality and matchday experience.
We'd like to thank our loyal Hartlepool United fans for their continuous support which has been incredible this season and we hope to see as many of you back next season. We are all fully committed to bringing back the success of this football club, together united.
