Hartlepool United 2-1 Rotherham United
Our young Academy side produced their best performance of the season with a win against, Championship Academy side Rotherham United at the weekend.
The young Poolies had to be patient against a very well organised team, with very few chances in the game, the first half ended 0-0 with Pools dominating possession, without creating any real goal threats.
In the second half, Pools continued their good display, showing patience and determination resulting in the creation of more chances and taking a goal lead through Leo Robinson. Ten minutes later Rotheram equalised with a well taken penalty. Pools continued to press and were rewarded for their efforts with the winning goal in the last five minutes, scored by Millen Burnett.
