We can today confirm that Patrick Boyes has joined Pontefract Colliers on loan until January 2023.
The young goalkeeper joined Pools midway through our 2021/22 campaign after gaining previous experience with Grimsby Town FC.
Boyes has continued to work under goalkeeper coach, Kyle Letheren and featured for the first time during our pre-season fixture against Hibernian FC in Portugal.
Kyle Letheren added: 'Since pre-season, Pat's attitude and desire to improve as been different class and his progress over last 3 month has been very good. He is going to Pontefract to get some well needed mens football which will stand him in good stead for rest of his career'.
