Three points for Pools in Harrogate as Molyenux and Ferguson goals complete the ultimate comeback!
Harrogate started the game on the front foot, and the Sulphurites had the first shot on goal as Diamond fired straight at Killip from distance. Minutes later, Pools' first attack of the game almost saw Ferguson win a penalty, but the foul was just outside the box.
Odusina defended well to deny Fallowfield opportunities down the right, but it was a familiar name that opened the scoring for the hosts. Luke Armstrong picked the ball up in a dangerous area, drove forward, and rolled the ball underneath Killip for his 12th of the season.
Pools looked to hit back straight away, with Crawford's deflected strike well held by Oxley. A minute later, Graeme Lee's side were level. Luke Molyneux continued his impression of 2012-13 Arjen Robben, cutting inside and curling a Goal of the Season contender into the top corner.
Chances for Shelton and Crawford followed, with the latter's curling effort narrowly missing Oxley's far-post.
Pools came out strongly for the second half, with Odusina and Liddle solid in defense and the front-three of Bogle, Molyneux, and Grey looking threatening. It was Bogle that had the first big opportunity of the half, but Oxley's strong save saw the forward denied. Oxley made another good save from Grey shortly after, but he couldn't do a thing about Pools' second goal.
Bogle seemed to hold up the ball for an eternity before teeing up Ferguson to blast the bell beyond the 'keeper. Harrogate looked to hit back, and two big chances fell to substitute Calum Kavanagh, but both chances were fired high and wide of Killip's goal. Mark Beck had a chance to get the equaliser with his first touch in added time, but Pools managed to clear and preserve their lead.
Pools XI: Killip; Sterry, Liddle, Odusina, Ferguson; Shelton, Featherstone, Crawford; Molyneux (Hull 90), Bogle (Carver 86), Grey (White 76)
