The Morrisons Hartlepool community champion Luke Ellerton said: “When Jack was a baby he was diagnosed with a brain tumour. He had it removed and is now partially sighted. He’s been a great fundraiser for Young Lives vs Cancer and has raised more than £120,000.
“He loves Morrisons supermarkets so he’s been visiting as many as he can while we’re the charity partner. In honour of his tireless fundraising, Young Lives vs Cancer has named its latest project Jack’s House. The charity’s ten Homes from Home support families whose children are receiving treatment at nearby hospitals by giving them a free place to stay. Jack’s House is currently being built in Manchester and is being funded by the money raised by Morrisons stores nationwide.
Jack is a football fan! Who is a local lad but unfortunately supports the red and white of Sunderland but let’s hope we can change that to blue and white this afternoon!
