Pools play Billingham Synthonia in pre-season fixture

8 July 2022

Fresh from a full week of training, Hartlepool United travel to the Stokesley Sports Complex this Saturday to take on Billingham Synthonia (3pm KO).
Synthonia Chairman, Paul Dolan has added:
I would like to thank Stephen Hobin and Hartlepool Untied for giving us the opportunity to host this friendly. We are very much looking forward to welcoming all parties connected with Hartlepool United to Stokesley Sports Club on Saturday. Both Stephen and HUFC have been very supportive to the Synners ever since the club hit some financial difficulties a few months ago, which goes without saying is very much appreciated. We are excited for the game and are hoping for a good turn out on the day.
Chief Operating Officer, Stephen Hobin, commented:
We are delighted to arrange this friendly with Billingham Synthonia. We wanted to help in anyway possible and getting a good turnout tomorrow should help with the financial difficulties they have had in previous times. I would like to thank Paul for hosting us at Stokesly Sports Complex tomorrow and we hope for a bumper attendance and a great game.
