After three pre-season games away, Hartlepool United return to home soil as they take on Lincoln City at the Suit Direct Stadium on Saturday (3pm KO).
The Opposition
Lincoln are set for another season in League One after finishing the 2021/22 season in 17th place.
Led by head coach Mark Kennedy, the Imps’ side features former Pools loanee Adam Jackson and former Sunderland forward Chris Maguire.
The History
Pools have won 41 of the 114 fixtures between the sides, while Lincoln have been victorious on 48 occasions. Last time out, Pools travelled to Sincil Bank in the FA Cup second round and won 1-0 thanks to a Lewis Fiorini own goal.
