Hartlepool United are delighted to announce the arrival of highly regarded attacker Isaac Fletcher on loan for the remainder of the season. Joining from our neighbours at Middlesbrough FC, Fletcher will join Graeme Lee's side and provide another option going forward.
Part of Middlesbrough's academy and development squad for more than a decade, the 19-year-old has occasionally featured in Boro's senior squad since early 2021. The tall, athletic midfielder made several appearances at U18 and U23 level for Boro, netting goals against Blackburn Rovers and Burnley, as well as a hat-trick against Sunderland in 2020. Fletcher was also part of the Boro first-team squad during last season's FA Cup fixture against Brentford.
Standing at 6'4", the attacker offers a good threat aerially as well as being well known for his technical ability. Isaac has already got family connections at Pools with his younger brother, Oscar, playing for the Pools Youth side and recently being called up for England School Boys.
